I have not walked on Leckhampton hill
for ages, thrashed about on bikes yes but walked no.
Having friends over always seems to make you do the things that are on your doorstep that you don’t do so when Chris and Kelly came to stay for the weekend
off for a walk it was.
Walking up the usual route that we pedal made me realise just how tough the climb actually is but what a view at the top.
On to the land mark on the hill the devil’s chimney
And up to the trig point Tala was a happy dog
Completing the loop
including Chris reminiscing about throwing himself off the side of the hill, something about builders at the bottom, we noticed that the hill is getting covered with electric fences (thanks Lai for working out that they are live). Then we worked out why
Thanks guys for getting us out.
